We will monitor your inventory levels, purchasing habits, usage trends, vendor pricing, etc. to help your company maintain a cost effective, efficient, and lean supply chain. How We Do It
First, we install AutoCrib software and/or hardware at all sites you wish us to manage. Using the data we collect from AutoCrib, we are able to effectively manage and track your inventory from issues at the crib to purchasing.
Your tool/stock room personnel will remain to handle issues and returns of items at each location. However, these personnel will no longer be responsible for maintaining stock levels, requisitioning items to purchasing, or reporting on usage. These personnel will be responsible for stocking the shelves and drawers when items are received, and maintaining a neat and ergonomic work area within the crib. THR will train these personnel to use the AutoCrib system, and in the techniques used to maintain an efficient and ergonomic storage area.
THR will daily analyze your inventory data to insure that your company is maximizing its capital investment in inventory. We will monitor usage trends, and adjust min/max and order points when needed. We will immediately begin to find ways to reduce excess inventory and make sure excess inventory does not build up in the future.
We will centralize purchasing for inventory items. This can be done in two ways; 1: THR will daily analyze your needed items and place orders on your behalf from your vendor choices, 2: THR will daily analyze your needed items, and forward purchasing recommendations to your purchasing department for approval. Either way, you will significantly reduce the expenses involved with the necessary function of purchasing by 80% or more.
*Note: We will not handle purchasing of machinery, or any large capital equipment.
We can also work with your suppliers of choice to manage and maintain consigned inventory, saving you tens of thousands of dollars in carrying costs.
