On-Site Inventory Management
On-site management is a service that will allow you to off load your inventory management completely to THR. We will handle all aspects of keeping your inventory chain flowing smoothly. This service is similar to Remote Management, but in addition to the data management we will also put our own personnel on-site in your tool/stock cribs.
How We Do It
First, we install AutoCrib software and/or hardware at all sites you wish us to manage. Using the data we collect from AutoCrib, we are able to effectively manage and track your inventory from issues at the crib to purchasing.
THR will place our own personnel on-site in your tool/stock cribs replacing the personnel you currently employ thereby removing the employment and benefit costs incurred by employing these personnel. In most cases, we will try to hire the personnel you currently employ to fill these positions since they usually have a great deal of knowledge about your company, and they will not be required to re-locate. They can almost always begin training immediately allowing us to quickly get your system up and running. These personnel will handle all tool/stock crib functions including issues and returns, stocking, and maintaining a clean and ergonomic storage area.
THR will daily analyze your inventory data to insure that your company is maximizing its capital investment in inventory. We will monitor usage trends, and adjust min/max and order points when needed. We will immediately begin to find ways to reduce excess inventory and make sure excess inventory does not build up in the future.
Overall, THR will manage all the data related to your inventory management, including the physical work on-site. This service alone will save your company several hundreds of thousands of dollars, even millions of dollars for larger manufacturers.
